Inspection Pricing
Pricing for your inspection services are based upon your “Playspace” description. Most often playspace pricing is grouped as a single package for convenience and clarity, however if a park, schoolyard, or childcare setting has more than one playspace, secondary costs may apply.
Suggest that it is always best to contact our office with a description of your playspace(s) for a personalized quotation.
Note: as fall protection is a critical element of any playspace, impact attenuation testing of the surfacing material will always be assumed to be included within any quoted price, unless requested otherwise.
Opinion Review Only - New Designs
For customers (present and future) within my service area, having a third-party professional review a playspace design or presentation can prove to be invaluable. Just to be clear though, any review provided would be relative only to play-value not cost-value. As such if sending along any drawings or plans for review, please do not include pricing!
Note: an opinion review of this nature is often beneficial when it comes to inclusive play opportunities, and should be encouraged. As such, a simple email conversation may be provided at no charge.
Opinion Review Only - Older Structures
As Canada only had a "guideline" prior to 1998, structures of 80's and early 90's were never built to the dimensional requirements of the CAN/CSA-Z614 Standard. Hence a short opinion review letter regarding condition and/or design may be all that is required. If so an email conversation may be provided at no charge, or a site visit and written document provided at a minimal fee only.
Legal Expert Witness Opinions
With 28 years of experience in the play industry, more and more we are asked to review injury case history, and provide a formal expert opinion relative to the CAN/CSA-Z614 Standard's requirements and/or the application of "professional judgement". Again, please call our office for consideration in this regard.
